Community Outreach
Our focus at Deep River is all about building community, having fun, and helping others, a standard we proudly keep and work to build upon. We hold numerous fundraisers throughout the year to benefit a variety of causes that are an important part of the Central Carolina community. In addition to the charities listed below, Deep River supports and has fundraised for, The Boy Scouts, the USO, The Sanford Chamber of Commerce, Camp Oak Hill, Tunnel to Towers, and many more. We even throw pink clays the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), a portion of each going to support cancer research. Many organizations come to Deep River Sporting Clays to add the "fun" to their fundraiser.
The Shooters Social

On the first Saturday of each month, Deep River holds the Shooters Social from 10am - 1pm. We encourage new shooters to come out and attend. Make new friends in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. $5 (in addition to regular shooting fees) gets you a raffle ticket for a case of shells, and lunch as well. The $5 goes to whichever quarterly charity we are currently raising funds for. (each guest you bring that is new to Deep River will earn you an extra raffle ticket.
